COMMUNITY JUSTICE SPOTLIGHTS

I was commissioned by Harvard Law’s Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race & Justice to produce a series spotlighting local organizations and individuals committed to making change in their communities. The series was envisioned to encourage collaboration among grassroots organizations and inspire others to follow their models.

The BASE reimagines pathways to success for urban youth through sports training and educational mentoring.

Haley House offers economic opportunities for people with barriers to traditional employment (especially those transitioning out of incarceration).

The parent-led nonprofit organization CWOP, located in East Harlem, was created to help families navigate the child welfare system.
